Whilst in Fowey in May, Steve and Phil together with Richard Shindell each made a drawing of a dove and signed it for the charity 'Doves for Peace', in aid of Unicef.
'Doves for Peace' was established in 1999 by Dorothy Claxton in response to the plight of innocent children caught up in violent conflicts and fleeing from war torn countries around the world. High profile personalities have been invited to make a spontaneous drawing of a dove. These drawings will be auctioned to raise funds for UNICEF who are supporting this project. The auction will be at Fieldings Auctioneers, Stourbridge on 17th October from 7pm.
The auction feature drawings from notable names including: David Bowie, Stephen Fry, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Murray, Earl Spencer, Hilary Mantel, Sir Sterling Moss, Barbara Rae RA , Sir Bob Geldof, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Robert Plant, Antony Gormley, Terry Waite, Bryan Ferry, Andrew Lincoln and Jamiroquai - not to mention our own notable names!
